Vocal/Amp Isolation Booth
Our custom designed isolation booth has no parallel surfaces. this prevents sound from bouncing back and forth. Even the ceiling is angled. Two different densities of drywall were used and the panels were hung on resilient channel to prevent transmission. the floor is also isolated from. the walls and the subfloor. All surfaces are covered with two layers of moving blankets and the room is airtight. Reverberations are nonexistent. The result is a perfect space for recording vocals. There’s a double paned lean window. The booth is wired for headphones, vocal microphone and an additional XLR for mic’ing guitar amps.
