Editing Studio
I prefer to mix in a big room with good acoustics. For this reason all editing and mixing is done at the DAW in the main studio room. The desk is set up at one end with adequate space behind and aside the desk and the monitors are on stands behind the desk on either side. There’s a sound cloud hanging above the desk. this provides an excellent near field listening position while allowing me to step back in the room for perspective.
